IN THE NEWS - ADAGIO BUZZ

Much like the city of San Francisco, the Hotel Adagio building has a long and storied history. Built in 1929 and designed by architect Douglas D. Stone, the building is still considered one of San Francisco’s finest examples of Spanish Colonial Revival design. The building’s original owner, Mortimer A. Samuel, envisioned a 15-story hotel that would be, “a home of luxury and comfort.” Today, Hotel Adagio pays homage to the history of the building by naming two suites (the Stone and the Samuel Suites) and the restaurant (The Mortimer) after the men that made the building possible.
