Bars Around Hotel Adagio

rye cocktail bar

The choice of most bartenders, Rye isn’t just a bar. It’s a haven for top-shelf, hand crafted cocktails. With an intimate setting featuring exposed brick and polished wood, Rye is a sleek bar and the perfect place to be seen. Located on Geary Street just a block away from Hotel Adagio, take a walk to Rye and see what all the fuss is about.

BOURBON & BRANCH bar seating

During the Prohibition era, a speakeasy was the only place where one could acquire alcohol. Intimate, dark, and lively, the speakeasy spirit lives on at Bourbon & Branch, a secret whiskey bar located on Jones St, just a two minutes walk from Hotel Adagio. Although it may be hard to find (the lack of signage doesn’t help), it’s well worth the effort. Ask our concierge about the secret password to enter.

TRADITION pub san francisco

Pub, watering hole, saloon…whatever you call it, Americans have a long storied history and love affair with bar. Tradition pays homage to the history of American craft cocktails and beer with a bar that has an intimate feel and knowledgeable bar tenders. A neighborhood in a neighbor that is full of discerning customers, Tradition has a rustic, old school feel and relaxed vibe.

JONES bar and restaurant

You know that expression, “you can’t be everything to everybody?” Well, Jones proves it wrong. It’s a bar. It’s a restaurant. It’s indoor. It’s outdoor. Situated in the same historic block of buildings as Hotel Adagio, Jones features a cool industrial vibe and is the ideal spot for everything from Happy Hour to Sunday Brunch.

Tartine Bakery & Café

A small, local bakery doesn’t normally get mentioned in the New York Times, but Tartine Bakery & Café isn’t a typical local bakery. Offering organic ingredients, Tartine Bakery & Café pushes the boundaries creating out-of-this-world pastries, cakes, breads, and sandwiches. But Tartine isn’t just about morning deliciousness. Try Bar Tartine for a unique menu that changes seasonally.
